The German Blue Montipora digitata is a branching small-polyp stony (SPS) reef coral known for its bright blue polyps and contrasting golden-yellow or white growth tips.
Care Level: Beginner to intermediate; hardier than many other SPS corals.
Lighting: High or intense light (blue-heavy spectrum peaking around 420–470 nm) is needed to maintain its signature blue color. Place it in the middle to top section of the tank.
Water Flow: Moderate to strong flow to prevent detritus buildup on its branches.
Temperament: Peaceful and reef-safe, though it needs physical space as it grows into a bushy colony
