Toxic Splatter Frag 1.5"
$29.99
Toxic Splatter Goniastrea is a striking, hardy large polyp stony (LPS) coral known for its bright green base and bold splashes of yellow, orange, or dark fringes.
Care Level: Moderate.
Lighting: Low to moderate (roughly 125–250 PAR), placed near the bottom or on an open sandbed.
Water Flow: Gentle to moderate. Avoid high direct flow, which can tear or damage the inflated tissue.
Feeding: Photosynthetic, but colors and growth improve with weekly target feedings of meaty foods like baby brine shrimp, micro-plankton, or coral supplements.
Water Parameters: Maintain temperature at 72–78°F, salinity at 1.023–1.025, pH at 8.1–8.4, and dKH at 8–12. Stable calcium (400–450 ppm) and magnesium are vital for skeletal growth.
Placement & Aggression
Aggression: Aggressive. They extend sweeper tentacles at night that can sting and damage neighboring corals. Give them plenty of space away from other tank mates.
Placement: Best kept on the sandbed or lower rock structure where detritus will not collect on their tissue.
