Orange Tube Anemone

The orange tube anemone (Cerianthus sp.) is a striking, semi-aggressive marine invertebrate from the Indo-Pacific. Unlike true sea anemones, it builds a protective, leathery tube from mucus, discharged stinging cells, and sand, burying itself deep into soft substrates rather than attaching to rocks.
